We did that. In the meantime, we planted tree after tree and flower after flower and the pasture produced its hidden – but still rustic – beauty. It became a place to share. The addition of the guest house, originally built in 2007 as a retirement home for Lisa’s parents, and the addition of an in-ground pool, led to more and more improvements, many of which you can see on the amenities page. After 42 years of marriage, we think we have a pretty good idea of what people look for when they really want to relax and enjoy a day or a week, temporarily setting daily cares away. Only about 50 paces from our own home, we designed The Guest House to be adaptable to the varied needs of our guests: married couples wanting some time away . . . business men and women in town for meetings or events . . . OU sports fans here for the big games . . . any individual needing a place to reflect, relax, recoup and replenish . . . a family looking to re-connect. It’s comfortable and cozy, but also contemporary and cool. Coyote Ridge, our family retreat, now has a guest house available for short-term rental. Located at the end of a cul-de-sac just steps from the neighborhood park with lake and walking trails, this two story, three bed, two and a half bath home has been completely renovated. Downstairs, you will find an open living room, dining room and kitchen. A second living room downstairs has a pull out bed. A half bath is also downstairs. Upstairs, there's a large master bedroom with a king bed and on-suite bath, two large secondary bedrooms with queen beds and a second full bath. We are so excited to get this place up and running, but as of right now we do not have updated pictures as there is still a long-term tenant staying in the home. There are 3 parking spaces off the alley, including a space parallel to the garage apartment. Street parking is available on Lynn and 1/2 block away in an empty city lot next to the railroad tracks.  Includes a queen-sized bed with a 5* Hotel quality mattress and linen and extra linen for the couch. You can park the car on, south side of the alley near the building, or street parking is available on the west side of the apartment. The washer Dryer is included in the apartment. Free use of 2 bikes. A stocked refrigerator and all cooking utensils and spices are provided to cook food at home and save money. Come and try.   We will request a photo ID from all our guests.
